Big area-don't want to make big mistake!

Sue, RI(Zone 6a)

Hi!
I have a 70' long by 3 1/2' wide raised 'bed' that I have to plan and plant! There is a retaining stonewall which is approx 5' tall and in front of that we built another wall which is approx 18'' to 24'' tall. We put some beautiful black dirt into the bed and I have been scattering the rabbit's manure over the top for the past couple of months. The picture of the bed is from my second story window.
I'm just not sure what to do with this area. The microclimate is 5/6 and it gets sun pretty much all day. Any suggestions!? :)
