New Years day is the day I start winter sowing. I don't think I will be winter sowing this year. Bummer.

Same here--its raining, but I'm sitting on the porch in shorts!!! Can't complain, though--just talked to family members who were stranded in New Mexico all yesterday due to that big storm. Apparently the roads weren't too bad, but everyone was out of fuel.....
Yup! Thermometer on my back porch says 72~ !! I'm seriously considering putting all my tropical plants back outside. I did go ahead and winter sow this weekend, but only did half what I'd planned. So we'll see. Of course, if I had to choose between shorts on Jan. 1 and blizzard, I'd take shorts! :)
Everything in my yard is sprouting, budding or leafing out! Have we become zone 9?
