setting seed on hippi

I am having no luck getting exotic star to set seed. I have two bulbs so I have self pollinated and cross pollinated. I am saving it's pollen though. If anyone Knows some tricks or the proper way ,best time ect. to propagate please post. I have many more that are in bud at the moment and have hopes of getting something to set seed.. I didn't have any luck trying to set seed with Red Lion either. I must be doing something wrong.

I imagine some just won't set seed for having sterile parts. I'm growing my very first amaryllis this year, pink diamond, and I hand pollinated and have seed setting. You might try another amaryllis and use the pollen from these to pollinate it.

Continue to try self-pollination. They are self-fertile. Also, try using cybister or Butterfly pollen. I've been successful with all three kinds on this one. :-)
