Oh my! That's a beautiful moth she's got a photo of there. Somebody is pretty darn good with moth identification because they referred to it as Attacus atlas. I looked it up and that appears to be exactly what it is. I love moths, wish I was better at identifying them.

I'm still plugging away at my moon garden for the moths. Every year I add a few more plants. Sometimes at night I go out and sit on the stoop and I can see them flitting here and there amidst my plants. I can see the motion of them but wouldn't be able to identify any of the moths that come to visit. I wonder if a camera set on automatic taken after dark would capture what is visiting me?

Love that moth!! I wish I could sit outside and watch them but I would get eaten alive my mosqutios if I did that. Would take a week or so to stop itching. I only get to watch the ones that flutter around the porch light.
