Rare Fungus Found

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

The UK fungi fans should visit the Church yards in the Brecon area (the Ministry of Defence's Sennybridge ranges in mid Wales too.....if possible ;).

Lilypon that doesn't look much like a finger!
I agree that Wales is excellent for fungi.

My son worked at a Youth Hostel at Libanus in the Brecon Beacons a couple of years ago and we did lots of walking in the area. It is also very good for Red Kite and natural history in general - beautiful and diverse scenery, from high mountains to ancient woodlands with spectacular waterfalls.

I'd love to see that area........I think I'll do some searching on google now and take a mini-vacation. Ü

Thanks Lilypon, interesting if not a beautiful fungi!

A lot of Wales is beautiful isn't it. We sometimes went to Wales for holidays and days out when I was a kid because there was only one county between us and the Welsh Borders.
