A sign, of the times maybe.

Marysville, WA(Zone 7a)

Chip carving, in my disjointed abstract and spontaneous style is a tension reliever, at least for me. But the wood has to, pardon the hackneyed phrase, "talk to me". I started on this large board a couple years ago and after a couple hours of chipping it just died. After tripping over it and moving it from place to place 'it' said it was just the right size for a sign. So new horizons appeared. Never did any lettering and never did any gold leafing, why not see what it is like. I'm happy with the results, and have a lot of leftover gold leaf. I wonder what's next ?
