Waiting, waiting..........Amaryllis Lilac Wonder

The last of my new bulbs - looks like it will be out just in time for Christmas.
2 scapes and a 3rd popping up at the bottom!

It's another on my wish list, like I need another. Well, yup, I do! I don't think I can ever have enough... Addiction, what can I say?

Still, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what this one really looks like.

Look at those brilliant colors. If the backs of the petals are that vivid, I cannot imagine how gorgeous the petals are going to be when it opens.

Actually it is more what I would call a deep rose than lilac - I would never call it lilac so that is a bit disappointing . Still it is lovely!

Look at those beauties! I'm not sure what the real color of Lilac is, but I always sort of thought of it as a pastel lavender with a slight pink tinge. LAS! I really don't know.

Zone 3a? Brrrrrrr! There is nothing like Amaryllis blooms to brighten and warm and cold, chilly day! And that one surely does!

I 5th that! I'v enever seen such a rich 'lilac', I guess it's like some blues, as close as they can get but who's complaining, it's GORGEOUS!
