evergreens turned brownish

Brooklyn, NY(Zone 7a)

Hi All,
I have a young red cedar tree, maybe 2 feet, and 3 low growing junipers that turned brownish this fall. They're not dead. Is this normal or a condition that can be remedied?
Thanks,
Adele

As a general rule evergreens' color will dull during the colder months as chlorophyll production slows down. They should be fine in spring.

Thanks Al,
That makes a lot of sense.
