How long it takes for a gas plant to flower? This is the first year for it and was wondering how long i should expect to wait...

Did you start them from seeds or buy a plant? I started from seeds and someone told me it took 4 years to get a flower from seed. A long wait but the plants are very long lived and worth the effort.

I got it as a plant. It was a gallon size i bought off of eBay for $2.30! I thought that was a good buy.....

How big are yours now poppysue?

They resent alot of root disturbance and take a while to settle in but once they do they are very long lived plants. They are alot like peonies in that respect.
