Some insects I spotted...wasps...

Some people call it a 'paper wasp' probably because the nest it builds is like paper. I saw this on the electric light shade/bulb. I don't know if this does any damage to the leaves in the garden or helps in pollination.

I get the yellow ones. They like to build nests dangling from my patio ceiling. They do it in late spring and summer and don't hesitate in landing in my pool for water for the mud nests - even when I'm in pool!!!

This morning I noticed that mud nest again and I noticed 4 holes in all besides the one on top. That means it is still in habitation.
