This is Joe - the stable owner is selling him for $950. She had got him for a lesson horse, but isn't clicking with him the way she does with her mares.
Anyway, he's 3, a paint and about 15.3. She said he's very well mannered for such a young guy, the only problem with him is laziness. She offered to longe him for me tomorrow - other than outright stumbling, any tips on what I should be looking for? Is there any way to work with a "lazy" horse or is that a poor prognosis?
I love his stockiness - his legs are quite thick. And he has a beautiful tail...
