In the absence of a built-in zoom facility in my camera I have tried using the binocular for zooming an image as some of you have seen in a few of my older threads. Now I tried one more experiment. I stuck up a low power lens (to add to the objective lens power) from an old spectacle to enable the image to be more closer so that I need not be too far from the object. So this way, the minimum distance has come nearer. I have used lenses to magnify from close range, much like a microscope. But this method could help me take pictures of insects without disturbing their natural actions. This is my water lily.
