A Candlewick Octagonal Heritage Quilt

nowra, Australia

I have added a few close up photos of the quilt.

My name is Val and I would love to share with you some of my quilts I have made. I have also made Teddy Bear, Pottery and various other craft things.

This quilt was one that I enjoyed doing making each octagonal as original and different from the others. There is beading, candlewicking, ribbon embroidary, lace backed on to satin and silk patches. Commonly known as crazy patchwork overhere. It took about nine months to makes.

Has anyone else done quilts like this.
