I've almost been through four seasons in North Carolina. October is my favorite with November a close second. July-August is unbearably hot and humid - with zillions of bugs.
I've also learned what grows where in my garden - and what grows not at all.
We have a deep lot half of which is wetlands - I do not venture there. I've re-established my labyrinth and I'm looking for winter grasses to grow inbetween the circuits. Are paths are covered with Step One Gravel Base.
Any thoughts on a cold weather grass/plant (about 5 inches by 500 feet).
Thanks,
Nancy
November update
Nancy, go to Plant files and type under Cultiver-' Weserbergland', Genus- 'Pennisetum'. This is an ornamental grass that is good in your zone. It just doesn't say what the height is though. Good luck. :)
