When is the best time to plant rye grass? I need to some info for a baseball field project.

I think anytime now. I planted on a new dam in Sept. It has come up well. Overseed before a rain in possible. If not, it will lay there till the moisture can sprout it. As mine was new ground, I added bermuda grass seed. Also used a triple 13 fertilizer. Lots of work there... good luck. pod
