Finally, after close to a year of delays the wall is finished. Carpenter had to remove old skylights, install new ones, then frame and sheet the triangular wall section after a shelf/ledge had been taken out. Scaffolding is still up as I'm not finished covering the ceiling yet, with cedar of course. Having a shingle mill within 10 miles of home and the ability to 'buy direct' means shingles on everything ! Anyway, this random abstrackish method of shingling suites my bent psyche very well and is so much fun. Sure uses up a lot of wood though.
