You are buying precisely the depicted plant on that page. Their non-specimens /see catalog are now sold on e-bay.
Also, the plant pictures are fun for browsing and learning.

Their specimen prices are very high though. And why can't they just put a link to their eBay offerings instead of telling you to search for them? Seems an easy thing to do.

I agree - they are not cheap. But once in a while one might spring for perhaps one of those as a really special treat. Yes, definitely not to buy from in bulk.

Some sellers sell seeds and those seem to be less problem shipping to Canada. Some vendors can ship to Canada too, you'll have to check their websites out. The vendor selling the adeniums on the other thread about adeniums-ko (he sells on eBay) is based in Taiwan so he ships everywhere, and sells seeds.

I took a look at Amazon's prices. Congratulations!!!! Great deals, especially when you consider that you get free shipping! Make yourself a note - de Vosjoli is supposed to have a second volume on pachycauls out in the near future. It should have been here months ago.

If they still don't have it, email one of the authors, David Hunt, through his website http://www.cactuslexicon.org/ Tell him Rainbow doesn't have it yet, and ask him how you can order one. This book is VERY spendy, almost $200.00. I presubscribed a couple of years ago and got it for $150. I received my copy in August, so it should be available for general purchase by now.

It's awesome, isn't it? And it retains its value too. I think I paid $60 for it when it first came out, and now it's $85, 20 years later!

Bettygail, I can highly recommend Adeniumseeds.com. I have ordered seeds (A. somalense and A. arabicum "Yak saudi") from Kesorn three-four times and the germination rate was 90-100%. And thumbs up for the delivery time: the seeds arrived in Denmark after 5-7 days. :-)
