Does anyone buy glass off of e-bay ?

Just messing around, I went to e-bay & searched for pink depression glass. I don't know if I would buy off of there or not.
Lots of items were misrepresented. Wrong pattern stated, sellers thought a little ding here or there was ok. Quite a bit of repo's being passed off as originals. One person said she did the best she can for checking for dings, but won't stand behind it. In other words, you buy it, no send it back because of damage. Another lady had a "Sharon" candy dish, knew it was original because her mother told her so. It is a repo, shown on the last page of Gene Florence book of Depression Glass.
I guess on e-bay it's buyer beware!
