Fascicularia, Crimson Bromeliad
Fascicularia bicolor
At San Francisco Golden Gate Park, near the Conservatory..
Fascicularia, Crimson Bromeliad (Fascicularia bicolor)
So how did you figure the name out for this one, Sue?
Well, I probably should have tried to confirm with Palmbob or the Succulent & Cactus forum, still should but there was an image already attached to this file that looks exactly like this so I went on a hunch that it's quite common.
Oh so you went hunting. Well, I followed your lead. LOL
This plant is not so hot until it flowers. I wonder if the whole strip will light up. Worth a trip in a few weeks just to see it if it does.
Always worth a trip!!
