anyone insulin resistant???

hello everyone! i am kelly and i just started having lots of problems with my blood sugar getting very low. like 41-51. my body is producing too much insulin. do any of you have these problems??? the doctor put me on chromium picolinate to see if that will help regulate it but if not i will have to start glucophage. i am trying to control this by diet. my blood sugar drops very fast when i eat carbs. it is so hard learning how to eat to control this. any help is appreciated!
