The leaves on my honeysuckle, here in Upstate NY, start out fine in the Spring, then get all mottled-looking...with a white-ish coloring on the leaves. The plant looks pathetic, and isn't thriving. What causes this and what do I do about it??!!
honeysuckle problem
Are you seeing white splotches on the leaves, or white lines running through the leaves? My honeysuckle vine seems prone to leaf miners, who trail a white line through the leaves as they feed. One spray with a pyrethrin product usually does them in, as long as you dampen both top and bottom of foliage.
Thanks for your response! (I'm new to DG, so getting feedback is a THRILL!) I'm seeing white-ish splotches, not lines. Any clues? And, why are youi up at 2:24 IN THE MORNING??!! Get some sleep!
