How do you grow leeks? By seeds? Fall or in the spring? I'm in zone 5 and I can't order them on line anywhere right now for some reason, at least not that I can find through plantfiles. I read that folks can do a fall planting, but I don't know if I can do one in my zone. Is it better to do in the Spring? Would I start them inside the house first? Googling, doesn't really tell you anything about planting them, or how to plant them.
Thank you.
