I know this is stupid but remember I told you all that I'm really new to gardening so here goes. How long after you kill an existing plant with herbicide can you plant in the same area and not kill the new plant?

There should be a time stated on the bottle before replanting if not got to the products web site it seems that round up last 30 days to plant seed but don't hold me to that but there are several different products so check them out
