I am looking for:
Red Cedar trees - in pots.
Bog and Wetland plants
Cottage Garden perennials
Ornamental trees
Prairie perennials
Some things I'd especially like to find:
Showy Milkweed (eastern WA) Asclepias speciosa, either the root or ripe seedpod.
Astilboides tabularis, either the plant or the ripe seedhead.
Seeds of Rudbeckia hirta cultivars, all types, colors, flower forms
What I'm looking for.
Hi,
Dmail me your address and I will send you seeds for the milkweed. I have lots of that in my garden and love the hummers and butterflies that it entices.
Lani
Any cottage garden perennials in particular that you are interested in?
I have fresh seed from digitalis lutea, aquilegia var. alba, and dianthus Fenbow nutmeg clove (this has to be one of the best scented dianthus! smells exactly what its name says - I grow them for cutting. A few in a bouquet can scent an entire room). I also have dierama pulcherrimum - Angel's Fishing Rod - great in Prarie Plantings, damp beds or cottage gardens.
I am just about to send a package of seeds to my sister-in-law in Washington State - I would be happy to put a parcel for you in with hers. She would be tickled to send them on.
Laurie
