cuttings of annuals

Emory, TX(Zone 8a)

ok... annuals are supposed to live only one year...right? But I understand that you can take cuttings of some annuals and root them. So if you take cuttings of them and bring them in and keep them in a greenhouse will they live like other plants do in the greenhouse?

As I understood it, you take cuttings, not of annuals, but of tender perennials which are used as annuals here in the North.

yes-any annuals that can be propagated by cuttings will survive all winter in a grhouse with sun and heat at night

I have saved impatiens for years. Not just cuttings but the whole plant. I just cut them back and nurse them along over winter with plain water. I am going to do this to the more expensive ones this year, such as the double impatiens and the New Guinea impatien.
