Silkies

Does anyon know if silkies and white leghorns can go together in a pen because i am going to set up coop that is 3 metres squared plus alowing to roam around outside

I raise everyone together. They establish their own pecking order. My silkies hold their own pretty well.

my silkie hen is the #2 hen is flock of nine, none of the rest of which are silkies, and 4 of which are standard size hens. I bet they will be fine.

THe only possible issue is roosting. Artemis can't roost high up like the other girls can, so on cold nights she can't huddle with them. I'm thinking of getting a couple more silkies to help keep her warm this winter. Otherwise everything is great in our mixed flock.
