Hello. I live in Winston-Salem, NC. I'm looking for potential plants to fix a backyard trouble spot. I would like to screen off an air conditioning compressor so that I don't see it late spring--fall from my back porch. My sprinkler system's water sensor is attached to this compressor--thus the closest sprinkler head stops before hitting the front of the compressor and does not water the compressor itself, or the compressor's sides that I want to conceal. I'm thinking about using Calla lillies for the task. Any other suggestions?

Personally I built a fence around it and grow vines over the fence.

What kind of conditions do you have where the compressor is? Shady? Full sun? Partial sun, etc? Knowing that might help us make some more direct suggestions.
