does anyone have any info on "saba" its a plantain and I have a nice specimen with a substantial bunch established; I grow regular bananas and have grown very adept at getting them to produce nice bunches....but this is my first plantain and I'm not sure when to harvest....

Hi...I got a "saba" over the weekend and planted it in a nice sunny spot where my avocado tree was until Hurricane Wilma blew it over last year...smile...
Did you get any responses back on your post?
Mine is only 3 feet tall now but I know it's going to get a LOT bigger...How tall is your's? Has it fruited?
I just want to pick your brain about it.
