San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

I have never been part of or partisipated in a co-op, but would be very interested in one for Cannas in the coming season . There a several large scale growers around, any input from the experienced?

Pepper23 where did it say no co-ops, does that mean to use only the forum? there is a forum just for co-ops. I was hoping one of those organisers might be canna collectors as well. I have listed bellow some of the growers that I know of that are very reasonable in price. Rita.

Fayetteville, PA(Zone 6b)

How does this canna Co-op work exactly? I'd like to know a bit more before I dedice whether I'm interested or not....

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

I have been Dmailing people that have run Co-ops in the past, to find out what the ground rules are. It seems that its all about setting absolutly clear rules to start of with, not having too big a range and running a good system for the records. I am not to sure that I am the person that is right for the job either, I certaily want a co-op, I just have not run one before.

West Bend, WI(Zone 5b)

so.... are we still doing this? i hope i didnt miss out.

West Bend, WI(Zone 5b)

i just found this page on DG about co-ops... maybe it will help some people out

I am interested in a canna co-op, I am going to make a large order this comming Spring. There seems to be a lot of interest and I have been reading and asking questions of people that have run them in the past. I am still interested but probably need some body to help me, if for no other reason than to cover any questions when I am off line. So a volunteer is what we need and I will start chatting up the growers for deals.

West Bend, WI(Zone 5b)

what time in spring? since i have a short growing season i would like to start mine in march. is that too early for your order?

Spring City, TN(Zone 7b)

Would love to be a part -- never have. When this gets organized, is it possible to send a dmail to everyone who has replied here -- in case we are blindly reading other forums and forgot this one for a while?

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

Yep we will track you down!!!!!

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

Track me down and shoot me? LOL I have a sick sense of humor early in the day. Heck I have a sick sense most of the time. ;o)

I am interested in some new to me cannas. A co-op would be great.

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

I don't really understand how these work - I will read up and see what I can learn. I am definitely interested in trying some new one, though!
