light therapy for S A D?????

Hello all. I suffer from lack of sunlight here in the midwest during the winter months. Well, I feel it is starting early this year. I want to check into light therapy lamps and was wondering if anyone has any experience or suggestions with this. Thanks for any help. I cant wait for the winter solstice when I can tell myself the days are getting longer and longer, minute by minute. Thanks again, Flowerlou
