I just had to show this cute little thing! Its one of three that made it on a volunteer melon vine! Its only big enough to get a couple of spoonsful of sweet tasting watermelon but they are mature and with seeds!!

do you need a teeny little spoon to eat it with?

Now that would make it last longer!!! LOL

Plant the seeds next year and see if you get more minis or if that was just a late season spinoff.

I think you could have a culinary hit on your hands! I imagine two or three halves in a dish at a top class restuarant.

I think planting the seeds is a great idea!

Thanks for all the input Y'all ! I now have the seeds drying on a paper towel and it seems that there are about 40 or 50 of them! I was so surprised to find any , let alone this many !
I am now planning out a special site in the garden, probably raised, so I can keep extra special care of them! I am going to read up on melon care and fertilization too! So next year we will have to have a whole thread on the action!
