I can finally post my pride and joy!

Coral Springs, FL(Zone 10b)

Finally figured out how to post a picture! So I sent this one...it's starting to get a "trunk" so I'm doing a snoopy dance!

Heres another one that I love, not a fern but has the same requirements as the birds nest and is as close to looking like a hosta as I can get here in south florida! It's called "Emerald Gem".
I enjoy the tropicals here, very much, but in my heart I know I really should be where the lillies and the hydrangea and the irises grow...all mixed in with ferns.

Your fern is gorgeous and very elegantly displayed in the urn.

Good job! I buy and try one here except even with shade it's too dry.

Thanks Hap and pheitmeyer- it was just a baby when I got it. It does need the high humidity found here in South Florida, pheitmeyer, and even then I have to water it every day...so even though we share nearly the same zone, its like the old saying: it's not the heat, it's the humidity!
