Frangipani cutting questions

New Port Richey, FL(Zone 9a)

My sister is bringing me a cutting of her frangipani. I have been reading that I have to let it harden off before I plant it. Does anyone know if that is a must for these cuttings? If so, how do I do that? Any help to a newbie will be gratly appreciated. :0)

I would post in the plumeria forum instead of here--lots more experts over there! I'm sure there are several threads over there already that would answer your question.

Thank you very much. I didn't even know there was a plumeria forum. I appreciate it. :0)

Yes, wet it and then dip it in rooting compound and then let sit for three weeks and then pot it up and water it and then wait. i did it and the new leaves practally jumped out of it . Put it in the hottest place you have, Dont overwater. Fran
