I posted this on the rose files, but maybe this is a better spot. The "twigs" are supposed to be leaves! I want to know what pest I have, so that if it gets to my other rose bed, i'll know how to kill it!
Anyone know what's eating my rose?
Ewwww .. so many things eat roses to nubbins .. I'd go outside at night with a flashlight and see if you can catch the critter in the act! or, use 7 dust. That usually stops the critters in their tracks!

Thanks, I do have Sevin, I'll try that.
I have the same problem. I think it's deer since some of my hosta disappeared at the same time.
Well, if deer eat my roses, they are alien deer. No deer here. :)
