My Sweet Pea is Dieing!! - (Lathyrus)

Falls Church, VA(Zone 7a)

Here is picture of my Sweet Pea. She is special to me because she is the first plant I ever grew from seed. She is only Two Months old! Why is this happening to me?!! The leaves are dried and curled. Does anyone know what is happening to make her do this?

Thanks in advance,
Tonja

Tonja, What zone are you in and how hot is it there? These are a spring growing and flowering plant for us. It can't take the hot summers here in my zone 7.
Plus it may be time for them to die out especially since you started it very late.
Next yr start it in March or so during the cool weather. They are a cool weather plant.
I'm not an expert on pea vines so maybe someone else will respond with better
suggestions.

Hi Jackie. I am in Zone 6. My Sweet Pea is growing indoors. I have this habit of growing outdoor plants in my apartment. Yeah I am a nut but I love the big growing plants. I keep the temperature between 70-75 at all times. I try to watch the humidity and check the plants with a water meter before watering. This weekend I plan to take her to the plant clinic. Hopefully they will know what is going on.

Again thanks
Tonja
