Pretty, Al. Cosmos - right? Is it striped or is that a result of our sunshine?

Pirl - they change color some as they age - that one is a bit blurry sorry.
They love sun and dry and poor soil and reseed - hard to believe they are not everywhere.

this one's slightly out of focus - can't take these pics in wind ;)

I love the cosmos for their beauty, Al, but also for the way the Goldfinches dive bomb them to get the seeds. Pure joy to watch.

Al - there's a thread, each year, for the ugliest daylily. I guess we have the start for the strangest dahlia. I'd rename mine "Bad Hair Day" or "Mucho Margaritas" and yours could be "Missing Something".
