Welcome! The Northeast Gardening has the nicest people at DG - in my opinion.
Pretty, Al. Cosmos - right? Is it striped or is that a result of our sunshine?
I love the cosmos for their beauty, Al, but also for the way the Goldfinches dive bomb them to get the seeds. Pure joy to watch.
Hi, Scarlet! you'll love it here. something for everyone and the nicest bunch of folks you ever want to virtually meet.

You silly goose!
Thanks for the name.........of the dahlia. I'll go visit the link.
Very nice, Al. It's such a great color and goes with all of your other beauties.
Hi Scarlet! Welcome!
There is a post in the FAQ section on how to post pictures.
Welcome scarlet! I think you like it here very much.
Al ~ Thats one beautiful dahlia!!!
Wow, that's fantastic!
I was just trying to show Al I really do grow dahlias!
and I thought blondes had the most fun...obviously it's the dahlia people
Ouch! I think pirl bit me once LOL
I'll tell you what then Pirl, I'll send you this one
http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=2645316
and you not send me that one!
Dawn - that was a nip, not a full fledged bite!
Al - there's a thread, each year, for the ugliest daylily. I guess we have the start for the strangest dahlia. I'd rename mine "Bad Hair Day" or "Mucho Margaritas" and yours could be "Missing Something".
