Newbie questions

Hi all - you inspired me to really go for it with composting so here's what i'm doing
1. shredded paper including mail - have not used newspapers as of yet
2. dried leaved and cuttings
3. throwing in the occasional shovelful of maure/old compost
4. household scraps including banana peels, greens etc.
5.and 5 GALLONS of used coffee grinds and occsional filters from local coffee joint
6 yummu fat worms that we dig up

We have heat! And it smells great (and the dogs smell like mocha roast)

Here's my question -
what else should we be putting in here - leaves wont start for another 2 weeks and will this windfall of coffee goodness be out of control?
Thanks! Lauren

Your doing just fine. There is hardly a time that too much Green is a problem. Unless using a tumbler. It is best to layer the green and brown as it comes. I store my green in the pile and add brown when it falls. Then I just fork a few holes into the stored green.
