Fruit on Constance Elloitt

First one ever on this 3 year old vine,but not a seed one,in fact not even any juice in it,dry as a popcorn fart!!!!

Any ideas on the reasoning for this. I have 2 vines that have several of these.

My 2 year old ConnieE has 3 fruit(s) now.. I've never had any passionvine fruit before, so I'm pretty excited... didn't think to even wonder if it dry or full of seed. The fruit I have is green...

Well being a hybrid,one reason,I have a green one too,hope it has some seed in it!

I had two fruits earlier in the year. Both had just a few seeds with a little pulp around them.

Judy,you have any idea what might have crossed with your CE,to get fruit?

It's planted adjacent to P. caerulea, and the only other possibity is Incense but it's farther away.

Now there are 4 fruit on mine, may have to inspect ......

Must have been the caerulea, I think they were blooming at the same time, I have Lavendar lady that's bloomed since end of July........I grow for the bloom, but I'm having fun watching the fruit, too!

Yep that fruits gets big pretty fast!!
