There are several different pressure canners around my area to chose from, and I'd like other peoples' thoughts about the best choice.
I'm leaning toward the more expensive sort (at least, more expensive in my area) where the lid is secured by half a dozen or so individual screw-down attachments. I've also read that the weight gauge is preferable to a dial gauge because it doesn't need to be re-calibrated, but I'm not finding that sort available locally.
So, any suggestions for someone just starting to gather equipment?
