Is anyone growing artichokes or asparagus in an earthbox? If so, what kind of results have you had? How many did you plant in each box, etc????
I appreciate any help.
Anyone growing artichokes or asparagus in earthboxes?????
Are earthboxes suitable for perennial crops? Just asking...
According to the EB people you can grow anything in them. I grew strawberries in the same two boxes for two and a half years. I just slit the center of the cover, removed the old fertilizer, added fresh fertilizer and sealed it with white duct tape every six months. I would imagine you can do the same with asparagus when living in a warm climate. However they must be protected from a casual freeze which does not happen here. I believe that they even have a diagram on the planting of artichokes? www.earthbox.com
