Stonyfield Farms organics - giving $ to NGA

Stonyfield Farms Organic products is contributing between $20,000 and $60,000 to the National Gardening Association to support their Adopt a School Garden program. You can vote for free at the weblink or send in the organic yogurt lids if it suits you. Getting kids involved in gardening would be great.

Through their 2006 Bid with Your Lid program, Stonyfield Farm is distributing $100,000 among three nonprofit environmental groups, and NGA's Adopt a School Garden program is one of them! Each nonprofit will receive a minumum of $20,000; the remaining $40,000 will be divided based on public voting.

I did the last "Bid With Your Lid: program, & sent a bunch of lids in to Stonyfield. They sent a Audubon baseball cap, plus the Farmer's Almanac. I hadn't expected or asked for anymore more than the cap. A decent program - a decent company. Their newsletter is very cool too.

Grammys - That is an excellent excellent question. Why don't you contact the National Gardening Association? hope you get something going at your local school.

Not only will kids get more involved with our earth and gardening but i bet they learn to eat better!!!!!!!!!! and healthier!!!!!!!!!!. Food taste so much better when grown in dirt rather than a hot house.
