CLOSED: Anyone??

Palm Harbor, FL(Zone 9b)

Found this critter on my Willow tree. He munched and then cocooned! He also has a "forked" tail when scared. I've looked all over the web but the only close identification is from 2 moths found in the UK! Ahh! Can anyone help?
Thanks!
Adrienne

Sort of reminds me of the moth larvae they call "hornworm".
