I'm currently trying some Callistemons in my Gloucestershire garden, but, hardiness is an issue. I'm trying C. pinifolius 'Sockeye' (orange flowers), C. 'purple splendour', and C. pachyphyllus (green flowers). Has anyone else tried these unusual colourforms (other than the usual red), and did the plants survive outdoors?
