Aug 2006 Gardener's World magazine daylily ID

Santa Barbara County, CA(Zone 9a)

I wasn't sure where to put this query but figured I'd have a better chance with the UK members....

On page 3 of the Aug 2006 Gardener's World magazine, there is a photo of a pastel yellow daylily. The caption next to it is "Hemerocallis buds liven up a salad." No name is provided. Does anyone know what type of daylily this is? It's a lovely yellow. (There's an article on daylilies on page 46 of that issue, but it doesn't seem to identify this particular daylily.)

I'm also posting a query to GW magazine, and on a couple of UK gardening sites, but figured someone here at DG might also know the answer.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, and for any help you can provide.

Greetings terracotta,

You may have an answer to this already, but, I believe the most widely cultivated Hemerocallis , in the U.K., is Hemerocallis fulva, although it might be Hemerocallis citrina as it's a yellow variety. Hope that is of some help.
