how to harvest canna seed pods?

how do you harvest them? When do you know they are ready? How do you prepare them to grow and when and how do you grow them? How do you cross-breed?

Sorry for all of the questions, but I am a complete novice. I have Bengal canna, Wyoming, and two other types that all have flowered and have seeds pods.

Those 2 have seeds pods but wont make seeds there duds regards Paul

gotcha......so the only way the propagate is by throwing out pups? They have tripled in numbers this year

yes . get a couple next year that makes seeds and try it.

Is there a list somewhere that has all the canna's that make seeds? Thanks
