I have a friend who has hydrangeas that have been there 8 yrs. and they never bloom. Can anyone tell me why????

She's probably pruning them in the fall or spring before they bloom. Doing this removes potential flower buds for the year. Thats the one biggest mistake people make with hydrangeas.
