About once every 3 or 4 months, I get a terrible itching somewhere on one of my feet. It is so intense that the itching is almost painful. I have to keep spraying the itchy area with benadryl until finally the itching subsides. This can take several days. If I do not treat with benadryl, the itching can go on for more than a week, even two weeks. Thank goodness for benadryl! But I keep wondering if there is something I can do or not do that will cause the itching not to occur at all. If it weren't for the benadryl the itching would about drive me crazy it gets so bad.
Anyone know what could cause terribly itchy feet?
