As I have been getting names and plants put together a few plants like this one seem to be combining two series into one. This canna which is in both the Exotic and fantasy series seems to bridge my work into one large huge series if someone is to collect them all. Each series has one or two cannas that bridges it to the next series. I figured it was different and after a lot of thought I am sure its how I want them to be. I am guessing for now but I should have 8 to 12 plants per series and ready in the next 4 to 5 years LOL. So you guys know what I will be up to till at least the year 2011.
This canna has been a great grower and a bright addition to the garden. Looking a bit like canna intruge with narrow purple leaves a bit bluish green on the underside of the leaves and in the middle of the leaves. The flowers are held up high and dangle down bright pink with darker pink spots. Grows to about 7 feet tall. Strong grower and self cleaning flowers.
