A very nice madienhair. Where did you buy that one? Finding a specie name on that one is going to be a challenge!

Hi Dale_a_G., I figured as much BUT, thought I'd give it a try, I'm going to contact the orchid co. that ardesia suggested and see if that gets me anywhere (have a look at that link above). This is in the collection at Strybing arboretum where I volunteer. We only have a few so are not selling it yet at the monthly sales, but hopefully soon.

I found one at a local nursery that's darn close, but not quite as airy as this one.

Have you ever checked out the hardy fern library. They have a lot of great information and the links are very good too......http://hardyfernlibrary.com/ferns/home.cfm

Looks like Adiantum raddianum var. Gracillimum, but the picture in my book is so bad I can't be sure.

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

what a beauty, so delicate! wouldn't last 5 seconds in houston tx weather

Ottawa, ON(Zone 5a)

Such delicacy! Makes mine look pedestrian by comparison! I wonder if it would be hardy in the north...
