It sure is! They had a public viewing! It was a really BIG deal on the VT campus

I've seen this flower on the internet before but the picture if the inside with the flies was a new one for me, very interesting. Maybe I get to see one for real some day!

They have one of those stinky flowers down at the National Arboretum, too, the one out on Rt 50. We went to see it last year. It made me gag.

yea, The article in the paper (Roanoke Times) said that the woman that was tending to it had parked at least 100 ft. form the greenhouse & smelled it when she got out of her car! The paper said that it smelled like rotted meat.
